...I think they are petrified with fear over at Maggie's. Petrified into silence. We all know how easily they scare....scare from word-confrontations, scare from debate, scare from being open to "attack" and "insult"...we know how polite and deferential you have to be to keep them from bolting, how you have to tippy-toe to avoid being banned....so, it shouldn't come as a surprise that each of them is waiting for the other to post something noble-sounding...determined-sounding.....brave-sounding (the operative word with them is "SOUNDING"). So long as you SOUND like you are all those things, they're content...that's because it's all noise and sound with them...what's that phrase..."....sound and fury signifying nothing"? That should be the slogan of modern assyrians....or, huffing and puffing, without the blowing part. Christmas was last week...New Year's is over...come on guys, show us your stuff...tell us again what you're going to do to YOUR enemies...tell us about those crucified virgins you all love so much...and it's never too late to shower us with old articles, in Arabic, that Bet-Solomon wrote twenty years ago and is still mailing to bewildered heads of state....give us your agenda for 2014...what do you plan to accomplish on the road to assyria? --------------------- |
