I've heard it many times by some of these brave sons and daughters of Ashur Banipal who deny the holocaust or claim that it was not 6 millions Jews that were killed but just a few at most. Some deny it all together and others claim it was not 6 million. Me personally, I don't care if it were only 100 Jews killed but to kill a 100 people just for who they are is totally unaccptable. Now of course, these nationalists wouldn't be so brave to come out in public and deny it or do it in the U.S. but they do it silently in secret and on their "free forums". They have good reasons to deny it because they are ashamed as Christians and angry because the Jewish holocaust is observed and recognized while their so called "Assyrian genocide" is not. There are good reasons to deny an "Assyrian Genocide" because such a thing did not happen. Sure there were some Syriac Christians who lost their lives around 1915 due to their betrayl and joining the Russians, Armenians and other but there was no genocide and they weren't killed for who they were but for what they did.

The holocaust is a different story because millions of Jews were killed for who they were and they were long persecuted before that by Christians in Europe. Suddenly the Christians are accusing Muslims of denying the holocaust or objecting to it and I am wondering for what reason would Muslims deny such an historical which they are completely innocent of. I think we all remember when Jumbalaya was challenged on here by Pancho and I to produce evidence of Muslims killing Assyrians for their religion and besides calling names he tried to bring some bullshit from some janitor who worked for Saddam who supposedly heard something or he would post about some Iraqi general wanting or claiming to kill all Christians or some unknown Imam in some 3rd world country who made a comment a 1,000 years ago. The bottom line is even if a certain bad Muslim wanted to do so or said so, it don't change a damn thing because such events never took place under Islamic rule. There was no holocaust carried out against Christians, Jews or others and there was no crusade by Muslims to forcefully convert people to Islam.

This is something that Christianity is known for and as always these people love to blame others for their crimes. They also love to slander others and especially Muslims and Islam in general. I am still waiting for an oppurtunity to debate any of these Christians on the subject of Muslims killing Assyrians just for whom they were or forcing them to convert. After 1,400 years, we see great churches which were built in Iraq, Syria and other Islamic countries over a 1,000 years ago under Islamic rule, we still see Syriac speaking Christians who speak their own language and we still see members of other faiths that exist in Muslim countries and this would not be the case if they were persecuted, forced to convert and killed for their religion. The problem is that these people hate books, history and historians or scholars, they like their opinions and prejudices and the claims made by their church leaders. They take that any day over a fact.

These so called Assyrians of today are nothing but slaves to their churches, they are ruled by their clergies who are like their kings and it is the worse that happened to these people. While they blame Muslims for erasing their identity, it is their church which erased everything. If these people were truly descenadants of the ancients, it is their church which ruined everything for them because they had no intersts to preserve their culture, heritage and history, but of course I still believe that these people are nothing more than a mixture of peoples and they are prejudice Christians ruled by their bishophs. There is nothing "Assyrian" about their Assyrian Nation but everything is Christian. A Muslim, Atheist, or a member of any other belief can't be Assyrian unless he/she is a Christian. This further proves that they are no more than a religious community from whatever country they come from.

I had an arguement with a relative of mine over the phone the other day in which she claimed all Assyrians are Christians, baptized and can't change their religion. I told her no person is born Christian and no real Assyrians were not Christians because there was a time when Christianity did not exist. She couldn't accept that and when I asked her what her ethnicity was she responded "Assyrian" and when I asked her of her religion the answer was "Assyrian" again. She could not see a difference between the religion of her parents and her so called ethnicity. This is common among them and this is how they were brought up to believe that they are already born Christians, they are Assyrians and they will go to heaven because they were baptized as babies and are born Christians. So for these people there is no test in life, there is no purpose and they can enjoy and do all the corruption and evil and at the end of the day "heaven" belongs to them and they are the first only to enter it. A Muslim will not even have a chance nor does anyone else.

These are the modern Assyrians who want recognition and think the world owes them something.
