...the discussion did continue past Magpie's one response...but the point still stands; if the offending party continues to hold this point of view, whose only real offense is in being so to Magpie, then she will cut the person off. Obviously, we don't do that sort of thing. It's far more offensive to cut people off because you feel offended than it is to allow them the freedom to BE offensive, if that's the best they can do. We certainly aren't bothered by offensive people...but we seem able to bother them.
