If the Catholic church really opposed this war Pope John Paul would never have accepted the "freedom" medal from George Bush in 2004. The Catholic church under Pope Pius also supported Hitler during WW2 while they exterminated millions of innocent Jews in Europe.

Pope John Paul II could've traveled to Bagdad on the eve of the war to stop the illegal invasion as wella as asking all Catholics in the army to not support the illegal war.

He could've also used his influence to rally the Christian majority in the US to vote out Bush in the last election.

Those 3 deacons and priest killed last month were as a result of the church's aquiesence in this illegal war.

Someone had to eventually pick up your tab.
