A new investigative documentary exploring the controversies surrounding the assassination of Bobby Kennedy on June 5, 1968 as he looked set to challenge Nixon for the White House. Munir Sirhan tells how his brother Sirhan has never been able to remember the shooting. Sandra Serrano speaks for the first time in forty years about the girl in the polka-dot dress fleeing the scene, yelling “We shot him! We shot him!” And Dr. Herbert Spiegel of Columbia University describes how Sirhan was hypnotically programmed to kill Robert Kennedy.

RFK Must Die explores the assassination of Bobby Kennedy on June 5, 1968. Kennedy won the California Democractic primary and looked to set to challenge Nixon for the White House. Then, the sound of firecrackers in a kitchen pantry. Kennedy is shot from an inch behind his right ear and slumps to the floor, assassinated.

24 year old Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan is convicted as the lone assassin. But Sirhan has never been able to remember the shooting. And world authority on hypnosis, Dr. Herbet Spiegel believes he was hypnotically programed to kill Kennedy. Not one witness saw Sirhan’s gun an inch from Kennedy’s right ear, suggesting a second gunman was involved. And new audio evidence proves at least ten shots were fired in the pantry that night, Sirhan’s gun held eight.

RFK Must Die features extremely rare footage of the hotel that night. Were three CIA agents in the ballroom momemnts before and after the shooting? Security guard Thane Eugene Cesar, right behind Kennedy when the shots went off, is seen walking through the hotel afterwards and head describing his gun to the police.

Sandra Serrano speaks for the first time in forty years about a girl in a polka-dot dress fleeing the scene, yelling “We shot him! We shot him!” Munir Sirhan tells how his brother Sirhan was never been able to remember the shooting. And Dr. Spiegel of Columbia University describes how Sirhan was hypnotically programmed to kill Robert Kennedy or act as a decoy for the real assassin.

Today, Sirhan is still in prison in California, with no imminent hope of parole. This new feature documentary by Shane O’Sullivan thoroughly investigates one of America’s most bizarre and enduring murder mysteries, and calls for a reopening of the case before the truth is lost to history.

Why was RFK rerouted from his original destination in the hotel straight into the path of an assassin s bullet? Who was the girl in the polka dot dress seen fleeing the hotel screaming We shot him, we shot him? Why was there a CIA presence at the hotel that night? Why were additional bullets recovered but never entered into evidence?

(Pancho, and whomever else with equal interest, I highly recommend this film... especially how it ties in to the assassination of Jack Kennedy, the anti-Castro Cubans and the Mafia. I know I've posted one too many films and written pieces, but if you are to be selective, do select to watch this film.)
