>None of the Libyans even tried to answer my question. They only repeated their anti-Gaddafi vitriol. "You don't understand. We have to get rid of Gaddafi. He's very brutal." (See the CNN video of the July 1 mammoth rally in Tripoli for an indication that these Libyans' views are far from universal at home.)

The Libyans who hate Qadaffi never answer questions but always complain of how horrible life is.

And Libya has the highest standard of living in the entire region, at least it did before the NATO and US bombing. If Gaddafi is brutal, what do you call all the other leaders of the region, whom Washington has long supported?"

Qadaffi has been good to them even though they don't deserve it. That brother has a much better heart than I thought.

That is bullshit. Before Qadaffi, Libya was the worse country in all of Africa, yet today it's the best. Highest literacy rate, standard of living etc. It also happens to be the most diverse in Africa as it has people, students and workers from all over the continent and elsewhere. So they may have had free education before as that liar said but it was still Muamar who made Libya what it is today. The Saudis and others are actually jealous of Libya because they even have better living standards than those goat smelling Saudis. Now that i think about it, I wish Saddam would have bombed the shit out of Saudi Arabia. History speaks for itself and those rebels can't change a fact no matter how much they like to.
