Dear Assyrian61,

The key to any Rememembrance day commemoration is to ensure that past atrocities whether they be Genocide or massacres are never repeated again.

Unfortunately the aim of most of our peoples' remembrance day's is to radicalise the event by giving it aa religous undertone changing its name to Martyr's day. They then proceed to use the event to lambast their competition - religious in this case - like any good franchise will do to its oppostion.

What we should be discussing sat these events is that it, has been, is and will be Western allies vying for control of the world's strategic oil reserves in Iraq and the Middle East that have ultimately been responsible for the decline of the Christian population, mostly through emigration. And let's ensure that the West never uses us as pawns in its global game of chess.

That is the only thing we owe to our ancestors who have died.
