The main campaign contributers to both the Republicans and Democrats, the Weapons manufacturers and Oil companies are looking to delay the inevitable as long as possible hoping to sneak in at least one more year of record profits for their companies before the Republican "bad cop" is voted out of office by the Democratic "good cop."
