...you can't bomb people into democracy...it takes a long long history of parliamentary procedures and education to prepare people for the concept that winner takes all AND the rights of the losers must be protected and maintained...this isn't something to be learned from one day to the next...our own democracy is proof that a democracy can degenerate into either a rule of the wealthy few, in which case a monarchy or any old dictatorship will do as well, or mob rule...

..is our own democracy working so well?
