The word Kurdistan came into existence in 19th century. so it hasn't been hundreds of years.

Like you said, the Kurds do not care about historical realities. They will distort history whenever they can, and they have inserted the words, Kurdish, Kurdistan, in any print form, even maps, and made it a reality, because they knew Assyrians DID NOT CARE whatever the Kurds were doing to Bet-Nahrain. They were hiding in monasteries in them thar hills.

But even now, in modern times, NO KURD could EVER prove he is Kurdish, as much as NO Assyrian could prove he's an Assyrian through passports and other documents. UNTIL that is, the KRG started issuing illegal and fake documents to Kurds, so they can come and live in our homeland for FREE.

A Kurd today, can only prove he's Iraqi, or Iranian, or Turkish citizen, but NOT a KURD.
