Also keep in mind that Zuckerberg(fb founder) comes from a well off family. He went to Harvard university and that's not a school anyone can attend nor do they accept financial aid. So for him to go there, he must have had money. His mom was a psychiatrist and father was a doctor or something like that. As you can see, he had a good advantage since he could focus on his degree. No doubt he is clever but his background helped him out. Bill Gates is also a billionaire but people forget who his parents were and his mom was a very wealthy woman and investor. These are rare cases and even they weren't starving poor. Almost 90 percent of all small business owners fail within a year or two and those are people who invested every penny they worked their lives for. Success is very slim in a capitalistic society and that's why it is important to have social programs and more opportunities to advance or prosper. I rather live in a society where everyone lives descent than live in a society where I have to fool myself and prosperity is only available for a tiny few who are already wealthy. Only celebrities live the way we see on American tv or movies. The average American doesn't even travel and couldn't afford it anyway, but their version of a vacation is staying him and fixing a broken window or garage door while they show us how some Armenian slut in California had a "fairy tale" wedding. This is how they entertain their population and give them hope and dreams they will never achieve.
