...No. It means he had noting to say, no moral stance against them...that means that when confronted with these horrors, he had nothing to say against them...even if his own people, Jews and later Christians (if he'd ever known any Christians)were involved...it means that people acting in his name also had nothing to say against them and indeed managed to find EXCUSES for them in the bible...it means that there was no moral imperative for Christians to ever denounce slavery, mass-murder, genocide or child molestation etc. You don't have to find your motivation in Christianity for murder...but it would be nice if you could find condemnation, I mean actual condemnation, in Christianity...

>You say that Christianity is violent and the evidence you provide are the wars waged by the west. I don’t think this is sufficient evidence. There could be many other causes for those wars other than religion.

...that isn't the point. As a Christian I can say I have lots of reasons not to believe the bible, or transubstantiation, or the virgin birth...but then I couldn't also claim to be a Christian. Christians who murder millions can't excuse their religion by saying it didn't TELL them to murder innocent people...it should be enough that it tells them NOT to, and they listen, which they don't....but they do it anyway, and, yes, they DO bring the name of their Jesus into it...all over the world Christians have been killing people in the name of their god and religion...come now, let's not play these silly games...you know damn well what is meant here.

>As far as I know, the MidEastern history was also fraught with wars between nations, tribes, and those of different sects. They were always at each other’s throats, and that was the main reason for the crusader’s success.

...the Crusaders failed, totally and completely....their one victory only came about because the Muslims were too divided at the time...their greatest success came in the 4th Crusade, when they skipped the Muslims and instead attacked other Christians, in Constantinople and, yes, that was definitely in the name of their lord...you also missed the point raised...in the last 200 YEARS, name any world war, or any war, that Muslims have waged that was not in self-defense...and defense against Christians....we are not talking of ancient history....

>It’s also not enough to say that Hitler said he was a Christian. Saddam pretended to be as Muslim as it gets.

...No one denies Saddam's religion...but you people ALL insist that Hitler could NOT have been Christian...that is the reason I raise this point...to show that Hitler as most definitely a good Christian in that he was merely carrying out what the Catholic Church had been preaching for centuries: that the Jews were responsible for killing Jesus...the history of pogroms and persecution and forced conversions and baptisms and the kidnapping of Jewish children etc, is all there...the last pope even apologized for it, although you people are at it again with Muslims as your targets this time.

..I am not the one who says Hitler was a Christian, I merely remind you of it...HE said it...and the Vatican confirmed it by celebrating his birthday every year...untl they were defeated.

>The best way to prove that the Christianity is violent is to draw from the bible sentences which show that Jesus, or his disciples, exhorted or condoned violence under any circumstances.

...no way. That is not the measure...the real test of a medicine is if it WORKS as it is meant to...not what it says on the label...or in advertisements. The practical effect of Christianity has not been peace and love...at least this is not what others have experienced from it...and not even other Christians have received peace and love...no one, I mean NO ONE has killed and persecuted more Christians than other Christians...again, this is all there in the historical record...don't take my word for it. This is not my "opinion"...it is fact. It is also fact that Islam has been far more tolerant o Christianity and Judaism than Christianity ever was of Muslims, Jews AND other Christians...we are all entitled to our own opinions, but not our own facts...because YOU are merely expressing your opinions, do not assume I am doing the same so that "my opinion is as valid as yours"....I am giving you facts, you are giving me what you THINK.
