"...when a missionary also packs a weapon, he is a mercenary....I meant purely religious front men doing political work...and what do you mean by "they are all guilty"...who is "all" and of what are they all guilty?

-- I meant the government of Iran, mainly the SEPA (IRGC), and the Saudis and Qataris, who are playing with people's lives in Iraq, Syria and the wider Mideast. The Iranians, like their nemesis, the Saudis, want to be the regional hegemon. Since the '79 Revolution, the Iranians made some Arab leaders nervous. Why? Because the Iranians became a threat not only to their secular neighbor, Iraq, which led the Iraqis to attack Iran, since Khomeini and his followers were targeting secular Iraq by provoking the Iraqi Shia' to rise against Saddam, which led to the 8-year war between the two nations; but they also made Arab kings feel under attack by establishing an Islamic Republic, rather than a kingdom like the various Arab nations of the Gulf, especially the Saudi Kingdom. So, in my opinion, they are all guilty, some more, and some less than others, since the power players' personal interests precede the well-being of both Arab and Iranian day-to-day people. It's all a game of power politics, and every one is guilty to some extent.
