It's hard to figure out Hitchens and how he has changed. At times I wonder if he jumped on this Islamophobia business because he saw a money making opportunity or he just simply angry at Muslim immigrants coming to the west and making the area darker. It's strange that he would support resistance movements elsewhere but then finds it heinous that Muslims would fight back in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere against US occupations. It's almost like he has become a right wing Christian and sounds no different from Pat Robertson and the rest. He has definitely lost a lot of friends as I see so many negative comments against him on youtube by other leftists.
