There is this dweeb on facebook who wrote that everyone has his own definition of what is truth. In other words, opinions. This is why it's so difficult for them to understand the difference between what is an actual fact and opinion. If I don't wanna agree with Einstein, I can just dismiss it as his opinion and say I have my own as well. It's silly but that's how such people operate. Just like another female once told me that what is true to me is not true for her. The difference is that I am not following my own opinion here as they are. I have opinions also but it's not the same as a fact. The nationalists have opinions, and if that's not enough, they find a few other white men who are also amateurs in this field but that don't matter to them. Joseph is ignored for an Aprim. What is this world coming to. It always goes back to education which these people don't care much for because they are full of prejudice and opinions.

Albert Hourani was a christian from the middle east and a historian on the middle east, just like joseph. He says that muslims protected the christians of the middle east and especially the jacobited and nestorians who were seen as heretics. He also says there was no attempt to convert the christians. Was he lying? I read his book which is titled "history of the arab people" and he also authored other books. He is well respected by other historians so is he lying about muslims? Again, he was christian himself and an arab. He put personal opinions and prejudice aside. I had my own prejudice as well, I was 100% assyrian, hated muslims and repeated everything I ever read from amateurs.

These people just have never been able to differentiate between their opinions and what is actually true. It's not opinion that "assyrian" wasn't used until after the 1900s. It's not opinion that the church changed its name in 76 and it's also true that there were no people calling themselves "aturaye" for thousands of years. The chldean name was in use well before the assyrian identity was adopted, and the same people calling themselves assyrians today were first on the chaldean bandwagon. It took the european to make them assyrians and the nestorians never on their own even thought about adopting the assyrian name when the chaldean name was first revived, and that's because they didn't know anything about the ancient assyrians, but with the rise of nationalism, the discovery and the british stroking our cocks just a little, we settled for assyrian. That's fine, but it didn't stop there and then came demands, "get out of our country", all assyrians are christians and all the other silly stuff. These people have no evidence they are related to the ancient assyrians and they knew nothing about them and never identified as such. It was recently and it came from the west. That's not an opinion but a fact, and not my own "definition" of truth.
