I don't need that to be an Assyrian and if being Christian makes them more Assyrian then that's their opinion and they can continue believe so, but in reality it doesn't at all. They just been brainwashed into believing that if they even dare to go to another belief or faith they will no longer be Assyrian. Many Christians and Assyrians I have met weren't even happy with Christianity. I've seen Assyrian Christians who criticize their Bible, charge it with being fake yet remain Christian only because mom and dad are and they don't want to go through the trouble that I go through or anyone else that chooses another way. Slowly more are coming out and becoming brave but there is a little light still others for change. But if these clowns continue with their absurd agendas or political ideologies, they are not going to last very long. "

First of all, Shlama brother Jumblat, long time since I seen you on here. I hope everything is going well with. As to the Bible, yes you are right about that it is not one book but it's divided between Old and New Testament. It is also a collection of books written by many different authors over centuries and most of the authors aren't even known.

>Then, there are many who question the BIBLE , which is the OLD TESTAMENT as we question the QUR'AN , BUT never question for accuracy the NEW TESTAMENT period, it is solid fact without any doubt.

So, you don't really believe the the Old Testament that much?

>Yes , there are many who question the BIBLE/OLD TESTAMENT and one of them is me for the following reasons that there are these discrepancies:

I agree with you on that and I don't think that you as a Christian have to believe it all in order to be a good person or believer. As for myself being a Muslim, I of course believe in all of the prophets/messengers of God from first to last and all their revelations. I believe in the Quran as the last testament, but also have no doubt about the Injeel that was preached by Jesus Christ(as), the Torah(law) given to the Prophet Moses(as), the Zabur which was given to Prophet Daoud(as) and the Suhuf which was given to Abraham(as). But we do not believe that the Torah which was given to Moses(as) is the modern "Old Testament". Nonetheless, it may contain some of the Torah but it wouldn't be fair to pick and choose out of it as they(Jews) themselves do.

>And by saying that , THEY ARE MORE CLOSE to ISLAM than to CHRISTIANITY which should distance itself from them period.

I hope you weren't offended by my post or my views and I appologize if you were bothered by it. Take care and God bless.
