...the US government profits whenever its corporations profit...and the corporations profit simply by waging these ware...there is nothing to be "won", in the old usage of that word, by actually conquering those nations, you can`t keep the land anyway and it would be a headache to try to make a new state out of Vietnam or Iraq...it`s enough to rob the Treasury every decade or so...that`s where the "treasure" comes from.
