It only vame o me recently that what I had called US Grand Strategy was in fact not the US Goveernment's doing at all.

The US Government ceased to control its foreign policy from 1971 onwards outsourcing it to the banks who began with fractional reserve banking in 1915 moved onto petro-dollar backing in 1971 and then of course created derivatives and repos in the 2000s which led to the GFC.
