It is a fact that Turks were also guilty of massacres and I have no problem admitting that at all. Even Turks admit that themselves but there were massacres on all sides and I am saying there is no evidence of a genocide, or at least none I have seen. It is Christians who can't remove their religious glasses and you and I know well that there would be no discussion if Turks were Christians. But they happen to be Muslim and that's why we hear genocide claims. What happened in Rawanda was genocide and there is concrete evidence. In our case, there were many killed on all sides and many more died from diseases, starvation, cold winters etc. If you look at the supposed numbers given by Christians ever since 1915, they have gone up ever since. Now our hero Aprim claims 800,000 Assyrians died and he shows no evidence except mere digits from the air. I am not blinded by religion at all nor does it affect my judgement.

I would react the same way if Turks were not Muslims because I care about honesty and not religion. There was a time I believed in this genocide claim too and my blood used to heat up out of anger but I was getting my facts from taxi drivers, engineers and missionaries instead of looking at what historians have to say about it. I have nothing invested in this, and if a genocide really happened, I would want justice for those who were victims but I haven't seen any evidence of that. It becomes even more suspicious when one learns of the fabricated telegrams made by Christians and the fabricated words put in the mouths of Turkish officials. And the claim that perhaps Turks destroyed the evidence is silly because the word genocide was unknown back then and they have not been ashamed that they massacred some Christians during those years so why would they be so shy about it afterwards? It is Christians making the accusations, therefore, they must bring their evidence and so far they have none and this is exactly why they got politicians or other amateurs trying to decide this complicated matter.
