Nobody has ever disputed that there was once an Assyria and that there were times where the land was referred to as Assyria. This comes from you guys and you always miss the point. The topic isn't the ancient assyrians and the land which was assyria. We are talking about you modern christians who were living in that land but knew nothing about the ancients other than what everyone else already knew and you never thought to link yourselves to the ancients. When the chaldean name was revived, the remaining nestorians also wanted part of it and became jealous of the name being used by one group. This is the point and you guys always miss it. You can say what you like but the modern assyrian identity is a european invention who had certain agendas. You can deny all you want but it's a historical fact.
