...the immigration policy of this country is not "broken"...no more than "mistakes were made" in Iraq, Vietnam and everywhere else we made money on wars we had no intention of "winning"...the winning of the wars came in the FIGHTING, or rather the GETTING MONEY from the American taxpayer... that's the modern way to win a war...you win the CONTRACTS! The United States would be paralyzed without Latin American immigrants...but, it would also be ruined if those immigrants could unionize, or take employers to court, or strike for fair pay, or complain about dangerous working conditions...we NEED them here but we also need them to stay ILLEGAL...that way we can pay them less and work them more. Caesar Chavez scared the white shit out of America with his Farm Workers Union...it isn't illegals we mind, it's allowing them any rights or protections. --------------------- |
