If you ever talk or just spent few minutes with some of these "heroes" and "proud Assyrians", you will immediately realize it's nothing but bull. What they consider an "Assyrian" is the one who has a crucifict tatoo on his body with "Assyrian" flag made in the 1970s. That is a nationalist and that is "Assyrian" to them. All you have to do is at least identify as Christian and be a bigot. If you are not an assole, you can't be Assyrian to them because their kind is a Christian denomination and nothing more. Aturaya, Kaldanaya, and Jacobite are nothing but religious titles. Whether they like it or not, there are more Muslims who are descendants of the ancient Mesopotamians than Christians, and it's just that simple.
