The example of Africans and Latin American natives is a good example of how Christianity was really spread..and also how an early training in the lies it offers can cripple children who should know better, at least when they grow up.

The forced conversion of African slaves in America and Europe as well as the forced conversion of Aztecs, Incas, Toltecs and Mayan descendants tells us all we need to know about how conversion to Christianity really occurred. It's preposterous to suggest that in its early days when there were no neutral witnesses Christianity was spread by "love and example" with converts eagerly rushing to embrace Christ..and yet, when it would have better for the Church to continue using such supposedly peaceful methods because for one thing there were eyewitnesses who could tell the truth, the Church decided to use force and violence.

And yet today the descendants of those Natives of South America AND North America, as well as the descendants of the African slaves in the New World dance and sing and pray to and weep over a religion which was used to rape their mothers and kill their fathers, when not enslaving them...they know damn well that their own religions, languages and customs were brutally destroyed and they were FORCED on pain of death to become Christian. We know they were..it's right there in the historic record and not that long ago either.

The Church claims that in the fifth century people RAN to embrace Jesus...but in the 18th century they can't make that claim because we know they ran FROM Jesus and we have a record of the crimes committed against innocent people to force them into Christianity.

And yet where, in the historical record is there any evidence that Muslims forced people to convert to Islam? There are Christian claims that Islam did this to pagans....perhaps. But their outlandish claims that Muslims forcibly converted Christians to Islam is an out and out lie. Or else there would be a record of it....especially as there are so many Christian historians...and yet, nothing....no record of such incidents.
