Not only Cuba but the former Soviet Union, the former Yugoslavia. I had neighbors from Tblisi, Georgia and they were so pro Capitalist. The guy was going to Rand Corp. in Santa Monica busting his ass to get his PhD. He would argue with me about the corruption of Soviet states as if the Capitalists are a bunch of saints. Finally he went back to Georgia after wasting seven years and he ended up without a PhD and a hefty loan to pay back. As brilliant as he was he couldn't understand how a free education and free healthcare is a privilege in this country, and how lucky he was to have obtained his masters degree without paying a single penny for it. That's what I consider an even playing field, not like how it is here. I never forget the stupidity of the one-dimensional thinking of some of the people I come across who tell me that the first word a child learns is "mine, mine". How does that translate into other languages cause I don't know any of my little neices or nephews first word being "mine". I guess it's only in America where everyone's told that there's such a thing as human nature and it's static and selfish. There is no human nature! Just as there is no god nature... It's all a big con game from the start to the finish. It's all an excuse to get away with theft and murder and say well, that's just my nature, I can't help it.
