..fortunately for the rest of us you have nothing to do with creating dictionaries or anything else....you don't even know what the word symbolism stands for...in fact you know nothing except what you invent or pervert and twist...it's as plain as day...the definition of "parable" mentions nothing about symbolism...it is a short tale, not a sentence....that ILLUSTRATES a point or moral...do I have to look up "illustrate" for you as well...or would you prefer your own definition pulled from your ass, which is where you get the reat of thoughts from.

...symbolism has nothing to do with it...a single sentence CAN be "symbolic" of something...as can a short story...that was never the argument...the point was that the single sentence about Jesus bringing a sword was a single sentence and therefore did not fit the definition of "parable", which is defined as a short tale that ILLUSTRATES...which old jumbled Jumblat said it was...whether you understand "illustrate" from "synbol", which is doubtful, is beside the point...but then again you have to be careful to MISS the point every time, else how could you survive?
