The best example of this was the lawsuit Sargon Dadeeshoo brought against the U.S. Census for daring to lump assyrians with syriacs and chaldeans....he actually got lawyers who, of course, were thrilled to have hooked such an idiot and his Bingo loot,...and he himself actually testified explaining all about "Assyrians" and how he was a prowd one and didn't want to be lumped in with "those people".

The poor judge, not understanding any of it, like how he KNEW he was assyrian but NOT babylonian etc., finally, after hearing enough of the usual assyrian nonsense, broke in to say that Dadeeshoo's arguments were "long on rhetoric but short on logic". Meaning he was certainly talking a lot but not making much sense.

Is there any better description of the assyrian "cause"?
