As popular teh ancients once were, even the bible thumping Christians of today don't know hardly about them. They know about the Babylonians before they know about the ancient Assyrians, and then comes in Fred Aprim to educate them and tells them that his people were first in the world, ruled forever, and were the first to become Christian. There hasn't been an Assyria for thousands of years and these dweebs make it look as if it was there right before it became Iraq. There was once an Assyria in what is now Iraq but there was also an Akkad, Babylon, Sumer, etc. What exactly is their point when they claim they're the indigenous people in Iraq? Anyone who has lived in a land for over 400 years is a true native so that includes Arabs, Kurds, and Turkomans. They are from whatever country their documents says. Iraq, Syria, Iran, etc.
