They say the guy had visited the bar before,,,,if true, why? Just to make sure it was disgusting? I think you're right. he was one of many who can't reconcile their deep feelings with what society and family expect of them...they are at war with themselves...can't fight themselves so they fight those on the outside...those men who kiss other men. They can't accept that they are this "evil".."disgusting", "dirty" thing they've heard parents and family and friends describe Gay people as...in the end some might think they can fight the "evil" inside of them by getting rid of the temptation...not the inner temptation because they can't...but the outside temptations; those men who kiss men and fuck men like his own inner urges drive him to imagine, and then hate...and it's much easier to hate others than yourself...it's THEIR fault etc.
