Website title:

something weird happens to people who are force-fed as children, not allowed to develop their minds first before their neurons are twisted into shape by adults eager to re-create themselves.

No matter how bright and intelligent one may be to begin with, or even if one is allowed to develop professionally or even intellectually, still, these kinds of beliefs stunt and pervert the human intellect.

Otherwise sane and even smart people go all to pieces when they discuss what heaven is like, or how Jesus woke the dead and especially how you must believe all this on "faith".

They even have a screwy definition of "faith" and "hope".

I know what I can do, but I know also that I need a good deal of luck too. I "hope" that my sculpture will be successful...I have "faith" that if I treat people right they will do the same with me. But I have no "hope" that I will fly up to heaven when I die...I have no "faith" that Jesus did any of the things a lying and self-serving Church says he did.

You can have faith that if you work hard you'll be able to earn enough to buy a nice house. After all, this is done all the time, but not by everybody. There is a chance that I will do it too, but I know it will take hard work and luck too. However, it can hardly be considered sane or a question of hope and faith if I sit in a field and do nothing all day but burp and eat, claiming that my HOPE and FAITH will get me that house...with no other effort from me.

That's a foolish way to define faith and hope....and yet this is exactly what otherwise intelligent Christians do. They have no reason whatsoever to believe there ever was a Jesus...but their minds are twisted in belief so that, on this one topic alone, they get all foolish and silly, no matter how many advanced degrees they may have.

Religion would have meaning if people were allowed to choose it for themselves and not be assaulted with it from birth. In this regard our friend AssyrianMuslim at least chose for himself....he was raised INTO Christianity, but took another path, as an adult...a thinking adult. That's something Aprim and the rest have never done....and that's why they still prattle like children....even though they may have engineering degrees. The one thing an Aprim could NEVER get, or want tor afford to is a degree in History. The child in him believes all his Assyrian nonsense...that same child could never live through a degree in history...his mind couldn't handle it...it would make him uncomfortable to experience the rigors of real study...he would find himself sweating and nervous, unable to sit still because without knowing it he would sense that he was being presented with weapons which would ultimately turn against his child-like beliefs...better to study engineering or medicine or accounting...that's why we have no historians...except one, Dr Joseph, who was adult enough and big enough to handle serious tools, no matter where his studies led him.

This "great5 nation" barely managed ONE true historian...and look how childishly they respond to him.
