Iran rounds up Christians in crackdown By BRIAN MURPHY, Associated Press Brian Murphy, Associated Press DUBAI, United Arab Emirates "Iran has arrested about 70 Christians since Christmas in a crackdown that demonstrates the limits of religious tolerance by Islamic leaders who often boast they provide room for other faiths. The latest raids have targeted grass-roots Christian groups Iran describes as "hard-liners" who pose a threat to the Islamic state. Authorities increasingly view them with suspicions that range from trying to convert Muslims to being possible footholds for foreign influence." ...as deplorable as bigotry and persecution and group punishment is, who began this? For 35 years America/Israel have targeted and mirdered and dispossesed Muslims with impunity...does anyone really need to have it spelled out? For 17 years a coalition of Christian nations have been starving and then bombing and then raping and murdering what we all know now are completely innocent Iraqis who never did a thing to this country or the other 39...did that make any difference? Imagine a coalition of 30 Muslim nations attacking and occupying Canada...would America NOT help Canada....would we NOT round up Muslims? Is anyone goign to say the Christian missionaries never posed a political and military threat to countries? This Muslim action is in direct response to the religious war being waged against Muslims by Christians for the last 35 years at least....now that Iranians, subjected to constant war-mongering from the West, with Christian armies fighting in Iraq, their immediate neighbor, as well as in Pakistan, Afghanistan and Yemen have decided to move against co-religionists of the very same Christians attacking Islam and Muslims for decades, Christians are again going to cry PERSECUTION! Christians can do whatever they want to anybody...their lawless acts can be based on lies, can involve the massacre of civilians as the Isareliu massacre, it was not a "war" in Gaza...but no one must do anything in return...but, if the do, then THEY are guilty of persecuting Christians! Our educational syatem has a ways to go yet before enough of us are THIS stupid! --------------------- |
