Tar Baby Jumblat

In the story of Brer Rabbit from Uncle Remus’s “Tales of the South” Brer Rabbit comes across a baby made of tar left there to trap him. When he gets no answer from the tar baby he strikes it with a paw that gets stuck....when he tries to free himself with his other paw and gets that stuck too, he next tries with one leg and then another until he’s all balled up in tar...and Brer Bear has a big laugh.

That’s what Jumblat has done to himself. After his initial lies he’s gotten increasingly entangled by every effort he’s made to get free. Three years ago he thought he had the perfect solution, when asked the first time for proof, when he posted that Muslims had killed 60,000 Christians of Homs, or Hims, in Syria, “for rebellion”. The poor fool didn’t see that he himself undercut his own assertion because, if this event took place at all, the Muslims retaliated because the Christians REBELLED...and not because they were Christians. So used to passing his lies off on his fellow liars that he didn’t even see the facts glaring at him in his OWN words. I had to, gently, point out to him that even the Assyrians punished rebellion, as did everyone else and that the day before these Christians supposedly rebelled, they hadn’t been bothered by anybody for their religion.

After that Jumblat disappeared for a year or so and came back with the same lies...as if we had forgotten.

Now he says there’s no point in giving any evidence to people who won’t “accept the truth”. That’s an odd approach to debate or disagreement. Usually, when you find people who disagree with you, you try to convince them by argument...especially by producing facts. It goes without saying that there is disagreement...does Jumblat only “argue” with those who agree with him? What kind of “argument” would that be? We’ll accept any evidence...so long as it comes from real historians and not Aprim..or the Church. Since real historians point the finger at Christianity as guilty of the crimes Jumblat wants to smear Islam with, he should provide us with real historians who disagree. Why is that so hard to do, or hard to understand?

If we were worth lying to...why aren’t we worth providing evidence to?

His most recent effort to head-butt his way out of the mess he’s made for himself is to say that since there are only two idiots here, it isn’t worth his time to provide evidence. If these two were worth lying to...why aren’t they worth confronting and correcting?

In the first place he’s confusing the number of people hardy enough to write here with the number reading. We have more readers here than the other forums...but in any case...what would be so difficult in just providing the evidence? Surely it doesn’t cost him anything....and he’s spent far more time avoiding the issue than it would have taken to give us the names and sources of the historians from which he got his lies.

Methinks he doth protest too much. But we’re in no hurry...let him be seen dawdling and flailing about as long as he likes....we know no such evidence exists to back up his claims or else we would have found it in all reading we’ve done....the same Christian historians who point the finger at Christianity, being all Christians themselves, would surely have included Islam in their condemnation...if any such evidence existed. I’ve never seen anything, even in sources which are slanted against Islam, to show that Muslims...

1.Killed people just for their religion.
2.Forcibly converted people on pain of death.

I HAVE found historians who’ve shown that Christians did these things.

And so...several years after he first posted these lies Jumblat Bet-Shlimon has consistently failed to provide any evidence...and that’s great....it’s wonderful because his silence is deafening and proves better than anything that the rest of his claims and writings are most likely also built on lies. It’s just that he’s used to talking to people who are also liars...who lie to each other and accept such lies....but he never encountered a real Assyrian forum where people were dealing more in truths...where he would be expected to back up his statements....we didn’t set a trap for him, he did it. He trapped himself by building his character, such as it is, on self-serving lies. He trapped himself...we were just standing by to watch it happen...and applaud.

Ps. Surely he could get such evidence from the other hysterians of Assyria...from Aprim...Jassim....somebody?
