...The Jews were never a threat to Germany...the real threat was the changing of the laws on the pretext of a threat from Jews. Same is happening in the United States...no Muslim entity in the wortld, and certainly no Muslim country, is a threat to the United States...our greatest threat is the loss of civil liberties and Constitutional guarantees, such as freedom from unlawful search and seizure, habeus corpus and the growing practise of jailing people without charges indefinitely....as a "security" measure.

If now Julian Assange is charged under the Espionage Act, with the ground well laid for a perpetual world-wide war against Terror and the "friends" of Terror...it wonŽt be long before any dissent, even over non-related matters such as EPA rulings and calls for clean air and water can be construed as giving "aid and comfort to the enemy"...not long before those who oppose Big Business will be seen, not as enemies of Big Business but as enemies of America...what will happen down the road is that the children and grandchildren of neo-cons, going through normal rebellious stages and acting out, as all teens must, will find themselves in jail or worse...a fate being prepared for them now by their unthinking parents.

WeŽve been own this road before during the Red Scare...another pretext to curb civil liberities, militarize our society and give more and more control to more and more "security agencies"...youŽd think that with all the thousands and hundreds of thousands of people working for all the security agencies this nation has at a cost of billions and billions of dollars, our people would feel a LITTLE secure...far from it...we are the wealthiest AND the most frightened people on earth...maybe thereŽs a connection?
