...you, of all people, should know something about how sophiticated these computers and programs and servers can be...are you saying that the people who put all this together were singularly unable to invent a method by which they could keep minimal records of how many visits come in set intervals, like say every 24 hours? That seems to me to be a minor challenge and achievement and also rather critical if site owners are to know the most basic things...like: IS ANYONE OUT THERE?

Also, if they were so silly as to NOT come up with a way to make this statistic meaningful, your friends and cousins could log onto your site 40 times a minute for 12 hours and make it look like you were wildly popular....are you also saying that the indicator on those youtube videos which says how many people have VIEWED said videos is all a sham and means nothing?

Are you sure you want to bite the hand that feeds you...like the computer industry?

Most people prefer to watch, in anything, rather than participate...why would it be difficult to imagine that 600 people, in 24 hours, from around the world, have logged on to see what goes on...or read a few lines?
