Apparently he won't come here to discuss...so I have to drag him over...it's ok, he's lightweight.

If the nestorians were fooled by the British as your friend claimed then how does he explain the Jacobites? Were they also fooled? Haha

...I don't understand the "Haha"...is something funny here? The Jacobites are a religious sect...if they started to claim they are Assyrian or Chaldean then they too are fooling themselves...incidentally, we fool no one else.

As I said my friend...your comments are foolish and ignorant....believe me Stick to your sculpture business...it'll do you better

...there is no reason in the world to believe you, or take your advice...as I say, you people SAY a lot of things but you have no evidence to back up your statements...you should show WHY I am foolish and ignorant, not just say it...but then, since you have no evidence of being Assyrian, except you SAY it, I can understand how you developed this habit.

The sources that I have mentioned for you are pure scholarly and they're free of bias

...I already explained to you that people, even doctors, who have to resort to the Vanity Press industry do not count as serious scholars...your two doctors used Cambria Press and Tatavia Publishers, both of them will print ANYTHING.

...Dr. Simo Parpola who's a very widely known Assyriologists your friend Joseph quoted him in his silly book...but he neglected to mention his conclusion about the identity of modern Assyrians

....Simo is an Assyriologist, his area of expertise is ancient Assyria...has no background or standing as a scholar of modern MidEast history...Dr Joseph would not THINK of writing a book or drawing conclusions about a field in which he was not a professional....Simo steps out of his area of expertise and knowledge when he presumes to believe that the existence of modern assyrians is a fact.

..very unscholarly...Dr Joseph doesn't just SAY things...he cites sources such as Edward Gibbon, Herodotus and missionaries to the region who admit the name "Assyrian" was manufactured.

I don't know if you think you are Assyrian or Chaldean...but the funny thing is that Assyrians KNOW Chaldeans are an "invention"...of the Pope's about around the 16th century...but then they go on to INSIST that they are NOT an invention, in this case of the first archaeologists who decided, based on what they dug up, that the people living above the ruins must be the direct descendants of the people whose ruins they uncovered...very, VERY unscientific.

Your two doctors turn out to be the usual kind of "authors" we produce....not versed in the field, just amateurs relating what their grandmothers told them...this will not do...also, their books will not be found in any serious library or university and certainly will never be used in classrooms...they had to resort to the Vanity Press industry which will print ANYTHING...as for Simo, he's been a huge kiss-ass to the Assyrian community since I first met him in 1998 when he was brought as a guest to a convention to tell us all the things we like to hear...but, again, his area of expertise is ANCIENT Assyrians, and Dr Joseph has never had any complaints or much professional interest in that...Simo should stick to what he knows...he could NOT teach a class in modern MidEast history...not qualified. And Dr Joseph could not teach a class in ancient Assyrian history, the difference is Dr Joseph KNOWS this, while Simo figures, "bunch of dummies from Arabia, what do they know" and proceeds to stroke our balls..for which he's received many donations to the project he was running out of his university.

So, do you have any RECOGNIZED experts in THIS field...and please no more Vanity Press "books" or professionals in OTHER fields who decide they might just as well expound in this one? Any?
