It was my pleasure to be one of those gave honor to our brother NINOS AHO few days ago in Chicago.

...I suppose I can mention that the first time I met this man was in a reception line to shake hands and purchase a cd of his poetry...As I thanked him for his wonderful verse, he leaned close into me and said somehting to the effect that I should continue what I was writing and saying for more people agreed with me than cared to admit just yet. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least...and I recall the inscription he signed on my cd..."to a real son of Ashurbanipal"...I have to find it...I know I kept it. Anyway, it's sad to lose anyone of his caliber...no matter what beth-Shlmon says of him.
