Are you kidding?

Who would oppose the truth except those who seek to hide it? What humiliation? The Assyrians are telling the world their history. These are facts, not intentions to "hurt feelings" of Turks. If the Turks are smart, they would admit these dark times in their history and move on. Germany has done this. So has the US in relations to African Americans and native Americans. Why are the Turks so much more pure?

...hmmmmmm. Could it be that what bothers these people so much is that both Germany and America are Christian countries? Not to mention the most recent government sponsored acts of genocide against the Iraqi people in which at a minimum 700,000 children, under the age of five (and well over a million if you count older children), have been starved to death, again by Christians...could it be that Christians are just a bit depressed at their record for state-sponsored genocides and have decided that at least one Muslim country MUST be guilty of the same?

Except not in this case...and not in any case in modern times...that distinction goes to Christian nations. The Ottoman Empire committed no state-sponsored genocide on anybody...they were a nation being attacked on all sides by European nations bent on stealing land and oil...and they encouraged and aided Christians within the empire to rebel and turn against their neighbors and government...and those who did so committed treason and in time of war especially this deserves death, as all nations practise...the rest died from starvation and disease, as did thousands of Turks.

The only true Genocide the modern world has experienced has been at the hands of Christians, not Muslims and not Turks. Let historians and not hysterians tell the story.
