Punching PANCHO

...that's exactly the kind of boxer you are...you remain in your locker room, dressed and ready for battle...but keep the door securely locked so no one can get to you...in your dressing room, you shadow box with a mirror and are peased at the fine figure you make, so pleased with yourself that you dare not risk getting a punch or two thrown at that pretty chin...and I'm left outside banging on the door to get in...since you won't come out and fight like a man, I have to drag you out in the alley and pummel you. I don't mind though...any battle is half psychological..and it unsettles you at the start to show yourself, to yourself, as such a fearful person....thanks again.

Pincho-...they were not Assyrians, silly. They were born in the "land of the Assyrians"...those aren't Assyrian names to begin with. People knew that area as the "land of the Assyrians"...as we know today that Arizona is the land of the Navajo...that doesn't mean that if a Greek today is born in Phoenix he IS a Navajo. "

REPLY >>>

Tatian and Lucian both are born in ASSYRIA,

..and a Chinaman could be born in Arizona...that wouldn't make him a member of a Navajo tribe...silly.

and if their names are not ASSYRIAN which is true, people always use foreign names as your FATHER named you FARED and your family is PARHAD , now could you please figure out what are you ?

...surely, because I'm not Assyrian. Those aren't Assyrian names...and calling someone "Maggie" doesn't make them Assyrian either...neither would calling someone "Ashur"...these are names, that's all...and Shakespeare already settled that. The Assyrian people, like the Italians and Germans, would not have used the names of other people... It happens sometimes to be sure...as in America where everyone is everything and a German can be named Carlo, if his parents wish it.

An Arab or a PERSIAN ? then I will agree with you on the above statement by you !!

...Like I said...the ancient Assyrians lost all consciousness of their heritage...changed their language, forgot their history, changed their religion, which brought new gods and names with it. Nestorians had Arabic sounding names, but never with the name of Muhammad in them...and many Christian services are spoken in Arabic...which doesn't make Arabs or Muslims out of the congregation.

But you're skipping the main point...which is that being born "in the land of"...doesn't make you an ethnic, lineal descendant of the ancient people of that land, after whom it was named and as it was recalled throughout history...as an honorable title and mention of what it used to be.

A modern-day Italian family, emigrating to Israel for work, who are not Jewish and who have their children born in the "land of" of the Jews do not become Jewish by ethnicity...but only by nationality. None of them would ever think to call themselves Hebrews.

NOTE: I don't like to waste my time with you, because your mind is programed for a simple reason you are a ROBOT unfortunately .

..it seems to me you are the one programmed and repeating what your grandmother told you...while I'm willing to read and look and think. I've come a long way from where I started six or seven years ago on these thingies, while you have remained as stuck in your prejudices as ever...the first requirement for education is the willingness to doubt....you have cement for a head and can only excuse yourself by repeating how ignorant I am...when I've easily refuted every point you ever raised...this is the main reason you are all so fractured and fragmented,,,because none of you really knows anything but what your parents and small circle of friends, who all have to think like you, agree upon. When you come across a rival point of view, even from those who are as passionate in their Assyrianism as you are...you react with "traitor"..."stupid"..."ignorant" and..."sell-out". Being so insecure in your knowledge based, as all of it is, on simple prejudice and mis-information which nonetheless "feels good"...you have no basis and no experiance in discussing rationally, sifting and examining and lack the courage it takes to challenge your most precious beliefs..to test them against the world's best...instead you remain locked up behind closed doors railing at the world for its ignorance when it disagrees with YOU!

You are free to write these same things over here...in other words; nothing stops you from bravely challenging and having your views challenged...nothing except the fear that you won't be able to keep it up for long...so you remain hidden where you can be protected if it gets too rough...is this the way you're going to "fight" for Assyria...or your "rights"? Do you see how you all defeat yourselves before you even leave the security of your base camp for battle...or rather, how you prefer to remain in camp, barricaded and safe from danger while you endlessly parade back and forth telling what you WOULD do if only you could.
