letīs go back to ancient days when there were only city-states.....merchants still travelled near and far but there were diffiulties with weights and measures, value etc. Then came empires which combined cities into states and then empires facilitating trade and adding security etc.

Now comes the world.....the world can either be one big city-state or world-state....what holds true for a single city or country that is self-sufficient, can hold true for the world...for the world, after all, does have to be self-sufficient---we fool ourselves by thinking we get something "extra" from another country...it all comes from this ONE world-storehouse.

In the first place most trade has nothing to do with needing the merchandise of other countries in order that your own people may live and prosper..it has to do with making money, with buying cheap and selling dear....America doesnīt have to rob the world so that kids can go to basketball practise..it robs the world because its merchants can make more profit that way.

Iīm not talking about reform in one country but in the world...the poor people of the world have more in common with each other than with their wealthy countrymen...banks are playing this game in every country and where they arenīt doing enough to bugger the folks, the IMA and World Bank get into the game...all with the same objective and eventual outcome: to take as much wealth from as many people as possible.

People of the world need food, clean air and clean water and then clothing and shelter and then schools and medicine and then the chance for recreation....99.9% of the people of the world would be more than happy with such a life....right now though, they are dependent on the machinations of bankers, private individuals who have governments by the balls...so it isnīt profitable, for banks, to see to it that people get a decent life...that is not their interest...profit is and thatīs the problem....we are all being held hostage to the need of a few people to make immense profits, no matter what the cost to the planet and the people on it.

If this sort of thinking doesnīt change...nothing else will until catastrophe forces our hand...and that day is fast approaching for this system canīt go on like this, which is excatly why the Right everywhere is upgrading its military and giving them policing functions.

Our focus has to shift from believing that we can get enough crumbs off the rich manīs table to sustain life and quality of life...we canīt mostly because the fuckers now want the crumbs as well.

The focus has to shift to preserving the worldīs resources and putting them at the disposal of all the people, for the people...in order to develop a healthy lifestyle for the planet.

Trade shmade...it can be done and easily too, but it will be fought like nothing since Slavery.
