I can even support my claims of Islamic tolerance by citing prejudice Christian historians who were known for their misconceptions about Islam. Here is P Bayle,

Muslims, according to the principles of their faith, are under an obligation to use force for the purpose of bringing other religions to ruin (probably he means Jihad which is not for the purpose he suggests); yet, in spite of that, they have been tolerating other religions for some centuries past. The Christians have not been given orders to do anything but preach and instruct, yet, despite this, from time immemorial they have been exterminating by fire and sword all those who are not of their religion […] We may feel certain that if Western Christians, instead of the Saracens and the Turks, had won the dominion over Asia, there would be today not a trace left of the Greek Church, and that they would never have tolerated Muhammadanism as the 'infidels' have tolerated Christianity there. We (Christians) enjoy the fine advantage of being far better versed than others in the art of killing, bombarding and exterminating the Human Race." (Bayle P., Dictionary, 'the article Mahomed', 1850).

this coming out of the mouth of an enemy, yet he could not deny the historical facts about Islam and its treatment of non-Muslims. The crap that these nationalists try to feed the members of their "nation" can't even be supported by the worse kind of historians. If they had such evidence from a professional stand point, they would not need to post under different names and then go on to quote their own books in order to support their lies. If a Fred Aprim, jumblat or any other of these champions were "historians" and "authors" or whatever else they think of themselves, discovery channel, national geographics, and every other network and magazine would have them on but such people could never make it on that level. They are good at writing their "books" and going to the printing companies to get them made. Anyone can go to such printing companies and the books are never examined or checked before publishing them. They are then made available through their we sites and their 4 to 6 fans will brag about their hero's new "books" on their "democratic" forums. In their "Assyria" we are supposed to ignore and call historians stupid and take the words of these nationalists as "solid facts". This works with their followers but it won't go far outside of that.
