...I'm struck by how much he turns into a scolding school ma'rm when telling us that we should be grateful that our "heroes" are fighting to keep us safe....what?

As embarrassing of a display as he makes of himself when blowing his gringo-jingos, he really comes out sad and unplugged in debate with George Galloway. Galloway gets the upper hand every time...and I find myself wanting to say, "but he shouldn't...this is, after all, HITCHENS, who can throw words and phrases up and catch them on the tip of his nose, while twirling his tutu....what happens to him against Galloway"?

Galloway is nowhere near as fancy with the language...doesn't bring to bear all that awful learning, as Hitchens does....but then maybe that's the reason: all of Hitchen's fireworks can't disguise the fact that he's just plain wrong....it could be that simple...because when Hitchens is right, I don;t think anyone, not even Galloway, could outshine him.

Galloway has no trouble doing to Hitchens what Hitchens does to all those priests and rabbis and religious pundits.

Maybe it's the same between those two as it is here: Hitchens unmasks himself...all Galloway does is point it out.
