...am being facetious of course...but he does what I was suggesting in his debate with Hitchens; instead of taking Hitchens' bait, in his opening statement, that Iraq is a better place since the American occupation and democracy is settled and Talabani is a president any country would be proud of....Galloway answers with praise for the positions Hitchens USED to hold...he extolls him highly thus throwing Hitchens on the defensive...later on he addresses the silly points Hitch tries to score with...but he throws Hitch back on his heels in a way I've seen no one else do...he takes the battle TO Hitch, instead of dealing with each "point" Hitch brings up...at least for long enough to rattle Hitch.

That's what any Muslim, or anyone in rational debate with a Christian, needs to do.

The retort to Christian allegations should be..."I'm so glad you raised those points against Islam because you remind of the close ties between our two religions and how you used to do all the things you now condemn Islam for...let's explore our similarities some more so we can better understand where WE came from"....and then give the Christian a good retelling of HIS crimes over the centuries, which add up to a lot more than anyone can accuse Islam of...start with the Holocaust and work back, if you want...or at the beginning...doesn't matter, it's the same amount of blood.

For a Christian to be accusing Islam of "violence" has to be the most outrageous claim...and it's easy to show that...throw your Christian attacker on the defensive...never go on it yourself...because you don't HAVE to!

And Muslims, please...stop turning the other cheek! When they attack Islam, attack Jesus right back! Get over your respect for Jesus, it's literally killing you.
