...he should have insisted on the police being called to make the frisk...and then had the clerk arrested for false accusation...a citizen's arrest. It's bad enough the police can now stop and search you for no reason, but when store clerks feel empowered to do it as well you have to take whatever steps you can to fight back...if not for himself then for all other Blacks who aren't rich and famous.....the guy should have lost his job because it isn't part of his job to frisk customers.....he can stop some one he suspects, but the cops are supposed to do the rest...besides which it would have made a powerful scene to have the accused insist on the cops being present.
