Correction of a several decades mistake, namely the celebration of the Assyrian New Year on the 1st of April, based on the presently used (Gregorian) calendar, is on the mind of many Assyrians today. But, why should we care to correct, we have all accepted celebrating Christmas, based on the presently used (Gregorian) calendar, didn’t we?????

Isn’t switching Christmas celebration date by all Assyrian Churches to be based on the presently used (Gregorian) calendar instead of the earlier (Julian) calendar, similar to choosing to celebrate Assyrian New Year on 1st of April, based on the presently used (Gregorian) calendar, instead of the ancient Assyrian calendar? ".

...and so it goes, and goes...and goes.....

....I rest my case. It's OVER!
