...would repeatedly resort to it, and worse.

What Christians like to claim as the founding principles of their faith, are not. Love, charity, decency, refusal to murder, respect for parents and authority, these were all part of every human community long before Jesus came to pester us. Jesus did not invent Love...or Sacrifice...or Kindness...these were all alive and well(as well as they are now) long before he showed up..they also form a part of every religion and community that ever hoped to SURVIVE.

The only things peculiar to Christianity and ONLY Christianity are...

1. Punishment, after death, for an ETERNITY.

2. Believers MUST participate, ritually, in the torture and execution of their founder...they must eat his flesh and drink his blood..and, no, it is NOT symbolic.

3. They must accept benefits which could ONLY be reaped through said torture and murder....be they the kindest and best humans in every other way (in fact SO good that they turn away in horror at the idea of benefiting at ALL from such a murder of an innocent for THEIR sins) they cannot enter Paradise...in fact had Jesus NOT been so used there would BE no Paradise to get into.

4. Sado/Masochism...in being taught to love a being who also stands ready to torture and kill you for the minutest infraction is unique to Christianity and is exactly what is acted out in bordellos and homes across the Christian world...what is sex-play that involves grovelling and licking and being spat upon by a person who ALSO will give you pleasure, if you "obey" BUT sick, Christian, sex?

...the church began in murder, it maintains itself by turning children into gang members who have to eat human flesh and drink human blood as part of their initiation and in order to remain in good-standing AND they must wear round their necks tiny copies, in gold or silver, of the very instrument of torture and murder used to finish off Jesus...there is no other word to describe such a "faith" as sick.

THESE are the things which make Christianity unique and unto itself..not "love" or "kindness"....the church is founded in torture and execution, that is it's base...without the torture and murder of Jesus there would BE NO CHRISTIANITY.

...and I wish there never had been.
