...the family of the hacked to death Brit soldier say the killing was "senseless"...meaning there was no rhyme nor reason, no "sense" in it, no reason for it.....media are pretty much saying the same thing except, of course, it's because of Islam....

...but is it senseless to take revenge on those who attack and kill your people?

The United States didn;t think so when it vowed a war "everywhere and against anybody" after 9/11...and then went after the Iraqi people, who had no hand in that attack....did that make sense to the family of that Brit soldier...or to anyone else?

Does it make sense to starve to death 700,000 Iraqi children, under the age of five, by Christians, for nothing they ever did? And then get angry at those you ATTACKED for defending themselves?

Custer had it coming...so did this British soldier. If the Iraqi people "deserved" this ten year war against a civilian population...surely this one soldier got what HE deserved. That makes perfect sense.

When you let this kind of indiscriminate violence loose against innocent people and countries, you can't very well act surprised that a little bit, a VERY little bit, comes back at you....THAT is senseless.
