"A suicide bomber drove a car into the gates of a U.S.-led base in eastern Afghanistan early Monday, triggering an explosion that killed nine Afghans, according to local officials."

...why, in the name of all that's sensible would you waste a life by driving into a fence with bombs? No one is saying you shouldn't be so committed that you would sacrifice your life to deliver a "message"...like American fliers did when they embarked on what everyone thought sure was a suicide mission to bomb Tokyo...by all means, make the ultimate sacrifice, but don;t waste it.

Or at least do it in such a way that there is a 50/50 chance you'll get away and live to die another day....suicide bombings are useful when you have to get PAST a gate, on some pretext, and wend your way to an inner sanctum you could approach in no other way and THEN blow yourself up.

But you can drive by a gate and throw a package filled with explosives you can detonate fifteen seconds later after you've moved a couple of blocks away...if the blast still gets you, well, okay, you died....but if you get away in time, you live to bomb again...and again...and again till the day your luck dries up.

I'm not suggesting improvements in how to best bomb places and people...what I'm saying is I think US contractors are behind all of these suicide bombings...mainly by planting bombs in the cars of unsuspecting people and blowing THEM up from afar.

Getting Iraqis and Afghanis to fight each other is America's gameplan...and the best way is to make it look like they are bombing each other...when it's just ole Uncle Sam again.

It just makes no sense to waste such dedicated and commmitted soldier such as a Captain Doolittle....unless you absolutely have to.
