Like with all things, we should start with a definition especially where dealing with people who are proud of their ignorance.

fo·rum
noun ˈfȯr-əm
plural forums also fo·ra

Definition of FORUM

1

a : the marketplace or public place of an ancient Roman city forming the center of judicial and public business

b : a public meeting place for open discussion

c : a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas .

I sum it up as a public marketplace for ideas. Not a message board where you chat....but a place where you can encounter all manner of ideas. The quantity and quality of those ideas depends on who comes by and who has something to share. But all you can do is provide the space...the forum, the marketplace...after that it's up to the people. What you must also do is make it freely accessible to all. There should be no moderator, no censor, no passwords and definitely no deleting of messages that may be unpopular or unacceptable...and there should be no preview of posts, or passwords...just a wide open door for anyone who wants to drop off an idea, or critique another....how people use such freedom tells you about them, not about the forum.

For instance, Rashad, Jeffrey and I were all banned from several assyrian forums because the moderators could not deal with the critiques or the information and facts we presented....and when swearing at our mothers and fathers and telling us about their dicks didn't do the job, the moderators solved the "problem" by running away, again...like they did from their "dear homeland", like they do whenever confronted by anything.

So we opened this place...and the proof that this is the one and only real and actual forum in assyria is that we have never had to ban anyone, and yet all are welcome. That is how you get assyrians to run...by allowing them, even encouraging them, to do their best..to give their proooves and books and what they like to call "ideas". It turns out they can't fight...can't even talk or write and more, don't WANT to. Had they wanted a fight, they would have remained in their "dear homeland" instead of running away.

And this is another reason to be grateful to toro...we have given him the chance, more chance than any assyrian forum ever gave us, to state his case completely and thoroughly...we also give him the chance to call us fatty, stupid and get on our dicks, or, deal factually and intellectually with our ideas...we give him FREEDOM...and we get to watch how he uses that freedom...as a clown would, or a child in need of a spanking. And yet, we would never ban him or delete any of his posts for they are precious beyond words.

My main contention is that these so-called assyrians are nothing more than garden-variety Christians trying to puff themselves up, that they are cowards and ignorant in the extreme and, were it not for toro, how better could I prove it than by allowing him to reveal himself for just what I say he, and they, are.

That's all a forum is; a place to display yourself and what you are made of by the words you choose to use.

...got that, dickhead?
