...whenever someone, as an adult, learns from someone else....learns something new or another version on what he thought he knew, our nationalists love to say that he has become a "follower" of...meaning that he has slavishly agreed to take on another's views rather thyan remain true etc.

...that's because all of our nationalists learned everything they know when they were children and have never learned another thing since...and since this stuff was poured down their gullets at such a tender age that they can't remember it, and therefore think that they just sort of always "knew the truth"...they believe that anyone who learns anything, as an adult (especially if it contradicts what we were taught about "Assyria" as children), with the mental capacity of an adult, the reasoning powers of an adult, the critical judgement of an adult etc. that he too is having stuff poured down his gullet...which is the only way they ever learned anything! To them "learning" is being force-fed, like a fat goose, ready for national-martyr-slaughter.

...In Assyria you must not learn...you must not behave as an adult...you must not use your god-given adult-reason...you must remain "true" and "faithful" which means nothing more than never examining what you were told to believe, "or else", when you were five years old...and if you change and learn and believe differently, then you're just being a "follower". Look at them.

..and about these forums...specifically about the very few readers and especially writers they all have. Our forum has far more readers than writers...but then we aren't trying to change the world or make a new country, or rally together an army to go march anywhere....this is a fourm for the free exchange of ideas..if there are only two ideas out there, that's fine. It was set up as a place from which we could poke and probe and prod Assyria to see what kind of stuff it was made of...whether one or twenty people do the poking, or a hundred or ten people read...makes no difference to any "agenda" we have...because we don't have one....we aren't demanding anyone do anything, give anything, change anything.....just poking around.

...the other forums though all talk about the need to UNITE..they dissect plans for Parliaments and governments-in-exile...and taxes...and uniforms...and armies to march on Washington or Mosul...they seek to increase their numbers so the world will LISTEN.

...and in the seven years that I've been watching them they've hardly been able to muster any enthusiasm among anyone...beyond the four people who post at Maggie's and the five at Beth and three others here and there. Obviously there's no interest in or support for any of these grandiose plans..which comes as no surprise at all. So, it isn't "insults" or lack of "unity" that frustrates them, it's that there's no "there" there. There's no allure or substance to any of their crap.

They have consistently failed in their goals..as have their nationalsts and they always will...while this forum is doing excatly what it set out to do. No one can accuse yoors trooli of trying to be friendly and popular...yuk! But they have to admit that I've been poking around in Assyria for a few years now and have been joined at times by other "pokers"...and there's no stopping it. We're the success, on every level and by every measure...the rest of them are failing beautifully...
