DEMOCRACY is to be able to sound your opinion freely and to tolerate and respect other people's opinions not to shut out people because they have a difference in views!

...ahem and well said. Where's the big deal in allowing posts which refelct your own biasis? What's the big achievment if a majority allows itself free access and speech? Would you expect anything different than that Maggie would welcome all who agree with her...or whom she can insult? The whole wonderful thing about the notion of freedom of speech is that the majority allows a minority or dissonant voice to be heard...it is precisely to protect unpopular speech that the principle of freedom of speech is something special to be proud of and cherish...all Maggie does is allow those who agree with her to post on HER forum...how is that any different from what the others do?

Sure...if you agree with Maggie, or the Michael boys or Aprim of Hanna, you are "free" to post...and you can even argue with them, to a point. That point is crossed when you become "insulting"...which is entirely for them to determine...and, as with all these peasants, they are "insulted" when made to look "bad"...which happens when they run out of anything more to say on any topic in dispute...feeling exposed and ridiculed by their own ineptitude, they turn on YOU as the one responsible...as the one who caused them to insult themselves by revealing their woeful lack of knowledge or discussion skills...they get mad at YOU for showing THEM to the public view.

So far, and sad to say, this thingie of ours, now going on its seventh year, is the only forum that acts the part...it's a testament to how well we do that hardly any modern and so-called Assyrians can remain long...if they ever dare write at all. All of them need to be protected and upheld, shielded from their own folly. These are clearly not the lineal descendants of that proud and noble race of ancient Assyrians...just as clearly you can see why they feel the need to hide behind something...some hide behind yahwe...others behind Ashurbanipal.

And we see them all.
