...not for Jesus.

...Judas is the one who really suffered, and stayed dead...he didnīt bounce back up clean and neat the way Jesus did....Judas is the real reason there is a Christian religion...because if no one did the unpleasant deed, Jesus would apparently not been captured and killed by the Romans...and without a murdered Jesus to spring back up from the dead...you canīt do it either. A jesus who died a natural death or got run over by a chariot would not have brought Christianity tolife, would not have enabled you too to bounce up after death.

So why are people supposedly sad at Easter? Is there no limit to their hypocrisy? I know theyīre happy that Jesus is ressurrected but how can you get ressurrected if you donīt die first? That he would rise again was a foregone conclusion, at least to God and him...it came as a surprise to everyone else, but not to Jesus...that was the deal, and he knew it. But in order for all this to work, he would HAVE to be murdered first...THAT is really the cause for celebration, not tears and not joy at his ressurrection....but relief and whoopies at his execution.

He HAD to rise for any of it to work...and before he could rise and make it all work, he HAD to be killed...that is the prior condition, the determining act, not his ressurrection. No murder, no possibility of ressurrection ergo, no Christian religion.

Christian belielf centers on believing in the ressurrection of Jesus, not on faith or good works...If you believe in his ressurrection, and play your cards right, you too will be ressurrected...that is the "promise" of Jesus...if you donīt believe in that, no matter what else you believe in, you are not a Christian and you go to hell (though many others will live their lives out in peace).

Take the most pious Christian and transport him or her back to Calvary at the time Jesus is about to be nailed to the cross....say the Romans have a twinge of conscience and decide they canīt kill this Innocent...and say you know damn well that if they donīt, you and your entire family will NOT be saved...will not go to heaven etc. What would you do?

If you loved being Christian and loved the idea of gaining eternal life through the ressurrection of Jesus, youīd do the only thing a decent Christian COULD do, youīd grab the hammer and nails, tell Jesus to stop squirming and take it like a God, and youīd start pounding in nails like your eternal life depended on it....because it would.
